ABOUT ME

"Off the beaten track is the real world"  Isabella Bird

I’m Nora Aridi (MSc LDEM) and I organise Eco-therapy experiences. I have turned my love and knowledge of people, and place, nature and storytelling towards Wild Walk Therapy. Based on the Isle of Wight, I offer weekly sessions through half day to multi-day journeys, for individuals, pairs and groups.

I work on rebuilding our connection to ourselves through symbolic outdoor walks. Specialising in reestablishing our innate relationship to nature with body and mind harmony.

I’m interested in how we communicate and form relationships with others, nature and ourselves. Exploring how we make meaning of our lives, the stories we tell, how we live in our bodies, and post-traumatic growth.

In 2005 I completed a BSc in Landscape Design an Eco Management, and in 2008 I was awarded a MSc in Post Industrial Landscapes.  Specialising in leftover neglected spaces and analysing the various habitual modes of nature and human appropriation within them.

I have always been a curious person observing human interactions, collecting stones as a child and learning about various outdoor worlds. It was only natural that as an adult I would translate my passion for nature, people and story telling into a full-time pursuit.
